The Inn on Long Lake

In response to the Coronavirus / Covid-19 crisis, we are adjusting our office hours temporarily. Our office is staffed from 7am to 11pm, 7 days per week. The office is closed between 11pm and 7am, and the lobby area is locked and secured.

We apologize for this temporary inconvenience

    CoVid-19 Update

The management and staff here at the Inn On Long Lake are concerned about the safety and well-being of our guests, our team, and our community. In these uncertain times, we wanted to reach out about what we are doing to support you and your travel plans. As the situation around novel coronavirus (COVID-19) continues to evolve, we are doing everything we can to ensure your travel safety and provide maximum flexibility.

We are working hard to do everything we can to maintain and improve cleanliness and hygiene throughout the Inn. Rest assured that we are closely following instructions from the Public Health Agency of Canada as well as from the BC Centre for Disease Control. Canada remains a safe destination and the risk of contagion to the country remains very low. We take great pride in maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness and hygiene. In response to the coronavirus, we have taken additional measures developed in consultation with national and local authorities to make our cleaning and hygiene protocols even more rigorous:

* Ensuring we maintain a healthy dialogue with our Front Desk, Housekeeping, and Breakfast room crews. The purpose is to educate them on the risks, and on how to move forward in the most effective way to improve health and safety for all parties.

* We have increased the frequency of cleaning our guest rooms, public areas, and all high use surfaces, and implementing use of cleaners and sanitizers to make all surfaces as clean and sanitary as possible. This includes ensuring all guest keys are cleaned and sanitized prior to any re-use, the wipe down of all door handles and other “high touch surfaces” on a regular basis with professional grade sanitizing agents

* We will continue to adjust Housekeeping and food service operations and procedures in accordance with current health and safety recommendations.

We have relaxed our cancellation policies during this crisis in recognition that many plans are having to be changed or cancelled under these extreme circumstances. We are happy to waive any and all change or cancellation fees. It seems the only decent approach in these times when many travellers are having changes forced upon them by illness, by regulation, and by reasonable caution. It is how we would hope to be treated, so we could not do less for our guests.

For all individuals that have booked through an online provider, such as Expedia, Hotels.com, or Booking.com, and many others, you do need to cancel your booking with them, and we are happy to let them know we accept those late changes with no charge to you, the guest, from our property.
