Island Essentials
Even the products in your shower have a local story.
Our shampoo, conditioner, shower wash and hand soap come from Island Essentials, a Vancouver Island company that has created a signature scent especially for the Inn on Long Lake.
It's a small detail that helps make a stay with us feel distinctly our own, while allowing us to support another Island business at the same time.
Island Sauna
We love our partnership with Island Sauna, a local Vancouver Island company that knows a thing or two about slowing down and soaking up the good life. Their beautiful sauna experiences combine the heat of a cedar sauna with an invigorating cold plunge, followed by the best part — kicking back around the fire table in their cozy outdoor seating area.

We take being pet-friendly pretty seriously, and that includes having something special waiting for our four-legged guests.
We proudly offer locally made pet treats from right here in Nanaimo at Foley's and FirstMate our neighbours across the water, supporting BC businesses while giving our canine guests a proper lakeside welcome.

Mizu Real Fruit Ice Cream
We’re proud to serve Mizu Real Fruit Ice Cream, made locally. Fresh fruit is blended with creamy ice cream to create a simple, delicious treat that tastes like summer on the Island.

Every year, we're proud to support Mental Health Recovery Partners with Nanaimo's Naked Bungy for Mental Health at WildPlay
This unforgettable annual event raises funds for Mental Health Recovery Partners South Island, supporting mental health programs and services for people and families throughout Vancouver Island.
It's bold, a little unconventional, and incredibly meaningful , which might be exactly why the community gets behind it year after year.
We're proud to play a small part in supporting an event that gets people talking about mental health while raising money to help Islanders access the support they need.
